Ok well Life Advice #1
Listen to what people tell you even if it is going way over your head or you think their advice just does not apply to you. People in general think they know everything and think that everything is just out of reach. I have so many people tell me that they could never achieve this or that but you have to try to achieve. I had a bad day once and I had to call a cousin I haven't talked to in a while. His wife answered and I do not know her at all never had the opportunity to even have a chat. I told her that I was having a bad day. This went wrong and that and Bla Bla Bla and instead of acting like she gave a crap. Like normal people would. She said "OH your one of those kind of people." I was totally completely offended and kinda wanted to just say um Sooo Lady you never let anything ruin your day. Well I was raised not to be RUDE so I was just like you know your right I guess I should not let every little thing get to me. Brush it off and let it go. So the moral of the story is that even if someone is being a total butt hole if they have a point then learn from it. Haters are going to hate. But that does not mean I have to let it ruin my day!
Life Advice #2
When you have someone you love a good friend or family member that you know does not like you and rather than ignoring the issues just ask them what did I do. Well once upon a time I got fed up and made the mistake of asking WHY DONT YOU LOVE ME I love you to the Moon and back and you ignore me to the point where I gave up trying to contact you. This person made up a boat load of lies and or somewhat true excuses one of which was "My psychiatrist said I dont have to talk to people like you." I do not recall asking what the he__ that was supposed to mean. But I just learned that no matter how much you love some people you can't paint them to be sweet and loving. Sometimes people just wont love you even if you would do anything for them They dispise you. They mean the world to you they still will look at you like the same annoying little kiddo you were 20 years ago. So I guess they will just have to take that up with their Psychologist. I sometimes am willing to bend to make others happy I have all my life watched my language not to offend. I have changed my religion, changed my hair, changed my everything even my accent! TO be accepted. But if someone loves you then you won't have to change who you are for them. When I was a kid I got bullied into changing everything from the way I wore my socks to the way I did my hair and they way I talk, and now I look in my closet and I don't see me. I see what society has shaped me into. I have allowed everyone harshest judgements on me to form a new me. I urge you to be you unless you are having a pity party then put your big girl (boy) panties on and stand up and be you! DO you, No one else will do it for you. Being open minded can cause people to think you are stupid or even crazy. I choose to listen to the people that others consider to be crazy. Because the first man who said the world is round was scorned for his beliefs. I now can accept that people I love don't have to accept me for me to be happy. I can be happy even if they think I am stupid, crazy or whatever. That is their right to think what ever they want I will say OK I am being me!
We I can research things I don't believe in and be open minded and you don't have to accept it or even read it but I am me. I am from a tourist town and I have sold cars and pushed hype so I can see through the myst and smoke and mirrors. But I am still going to like and share the dam Chupacabre sightings because it make me laugh so dam hard. I may even take my trip to the see the chupacabre droppings and there may not be a chupacabra but someone needed that tourism enough to make up that folklore. I know how it feels to live in a dying tourist town. Don't hate ppl appreciate!
I don't want to ever be the one stoning someone to death for being different. Therefore some think I am ignorant or stupid or just the devils advocate. What ever the case I am me and I will stick up for the under-dog probably even if I don't agree. Just because that's who I am.
You dont have to have perfect grammer to write to me and you dont have to have perfectly pressed jeans to walk with me. You just have to have a heart of gold. jk jk I still love you even if you are a total butt hole or grinch just not going to let your negative opinions of me shape who I am. It changes me for the worse. Now if you have something to say that will change me for the better I am ALL EARS. Some may think that these sets of advice are in conflict but that is the beauty of life hurtful things can be turned into positive life lessons.
